Red Light Therapy

Full Body Red Light Therapy Treatments with medical grade, FDA approved PlatinumLED BIOMAX

What is Red Light Therapy?

Red light therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses low-wavelength red or near-infrared light to stimulate cellular function. The light causes mitochondria in cells to produce more ATP (energy) which supports tissue repair and regeneration. RLT penetrates the skin without causing damage or heat. It enhances energy production in cells, promotes healing, reduces inflammation, improves circulation, and improves overall health by increasing cellular metabolism and energy production.

What conditions can Red Light Therapy treat?

  • Acute and chronic pain
  • Poor circulation (improves lymph drainage)
  • Chronic fatigue
  • Skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, rashes, wounds
  • Cognitive impairment (brain fog, anyone?!)
  • Neurodegenerative conditions
  • Depression and anxiety
  • Muscle recovery
  • Hair loss
  • Weight loss
  • Low testosterone levels
  • Poor skin elasticity (stimulates collagen)

What is the difference between medical grade Red Light Therapy and at home consumer devices?

Medical grade RLT devices, such as our PlatinumLED BIOMAX panel, are used in clinical settings to treat wounds and other conditions. It delivers precise wavelengths and higher intensities, ensuring cellular penetration. At-home, consumer-grade devices such as face masks, handheld units, and panels are not regulated by the FDA, offer lower intensity without standardized dosing, and may take longer for effectiveness.

What can I expect at my Red Light Therapy appointment?

When you visit us for your Red Light Therapy appointment, you can expect a relaxing experience. In our private RLT room, you will lay on a treatment bed under the red light panel for 20-30 minutes. You will wear goggles to protect your eyes. Maximum skin exposure is recommended. Red Light Therapy is painless with no downtown so you can immediately continue your regular schedule after treatment.

How often should I receive treatment?

At Care Options, we recommend three sessions per week, depending on conditions you are wishing to manage. We offer pricing packages to encourage consistent treatments for best results.
